The landing of the Connie at Zurich-Kloten airport after the "Many Lakes" Flight on October 8 concluded a very successful 2016 flying season; the Super Constellation flew a record total of 79 hours and 16 minutes this year (2015 total flight hours 64 hours and 59 minutes). Never before has the BREITLING SUPER CONSTELLATION been airborne for more hours than it has this past flying season; the total flight time exceeded last years' record by 22 percent.
Looking back at an amazing 2016 flying season, it is easy to see what great shape our grand old lady is in, but it is also important to give thanks and credit to the countless hours that were put in by our many volunteers.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed their time and effort to another successful flying season, including our maintenance team, cockpit and cabin crew, the ground team, the administration team, and last but not least, all of our sponsors and passengers who share in our passion for aviation.
